Bernard Lamb
The other day I found myself in Bow. I have not been there for many a year. I was pleased to see that the tradition of painting the hands red on the statue of Gladstone is still maintained. Apologies to those that find that too political, or do not accept that vandalism can turn into tradition. I then walked along to Kitcat Terrace and sought out the fragments of the former Bow Station, now in the yard of a car rental company. All that remains of a once grand building.
