kimitrain
Hi we are planning to set up a N Gauge Society in Andover. I have had a few conversations with alot of people that are not happy to join a club so hence why we are calling it a society. We will have no committee chairman etc. Payment is paid weekly so when you turn up you pay (not sure how much yet rather than pay for the year. we will have our own layouts up and people without there own layout are welcome. We have also found premises we can use. also we have not comfirmed a day of the week yet we are going to run. If this would be of intrest to you please reply to this post or PM me. Thanks Jaeson
RMweb Premium Steven B Posted May 16, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 16, 2012 Is this the Andover Area Group of the N Gauge Society? If not you might want to consider a change of name to prevent confusion... Happy modelling. Steven B.
Karhedron
Is this the Andover Area Group of the N Gauge Society? If it is not, have you considered that setting up an area group within the NGS might be a lot easier than trying to found a new society from scratch. Plus you have a ready-made pool of potential members. I am in Basingstoke but I might be interested.
