Damian,

 

I’m sure you can extend the jib given the relative lack of weight in the baseboards, but you don’t appear to have much overlap between the front castors and the hook.  

 

If you go beyond the castors, be careful as you’re then into counterweight territory!  

 

Love the approach though!

Yes agreed, my gut feeling is it will be ok as their is a substantial amount of weight in the crane. Anyway I’ll take it steady with the first lift and if it needs counter weight then it’ll get it.

They’re the lightest boards I’ve ever built - it’s what gets added later that causes the issues....
