Help

I have had a Bachman Crab fitted with SWD LokSound 3.5 for a couple of years and this has run with no problem until yesterday.

Now it makes all the whistles hisses clanks etc but wont move or make any chufing noises.

Ive placed the decoder into an ESU decoder tester and its the same.

Question

Im I right in the assumption that if it was the motor driver componants on the decoder that had failed it would chuff but not move?

Could it be something else other than a complete failure? Settings?

I seem to remember one of my other locos doing something similar but it came back to life - how I forget.

Thanks in advance

Kev

Ive solved it myself although not my question about if the decoder chuffs without the motor.

Solution was to change the Consist CV (CV19) to zero.

How it became changed Ive no idea.

Info may be of help to someone.
