Chris Ward who owns an Objet 3d printer will be attending Exeter 2012 ( www.xemrs.co.uk ) this coming weekend.

Chance to meet a modeller with his own printer and maybe do some business or discuss with him the system.

Also enjoy a good exhibition with some 40 layouts + trade support.

He was at the 7mm Narrow Gauge show at Burton a couple of weeks ago and every time I see him he has another new model. He was even able to help out a friend of mine who needed a 3D printer for his final university project and the printer at his uni had broken - the drawings were emailed across and the job put on the machine overnight - now he's just waiting to see if the project stands up to the scruitiny of his lecturers to enable him to graduate. Without Chris's help he might have only been graded on the drawing and not the finished article. :O

Top man Chris :sungum:

Thank you all, we had a great time at Exeter, explained the process to approx 150 people over the weekend. Its good to know we can compete with the European prototyping suppliers on their own terms. one benefit we have, it is we do the CAD as well! Or just supply from your own CAD work.

Anyway its good the process in general is getting more widely accepted, we have made some really good friends from owning our own machine. So its good to meet you all.

best rgds ChrisJward.
