signaller
If this has been here before I apologise. I found these on Ebay Canada. They are excellent and print on to A4. I have no connection apart from a satisfied customer. I have two rows of shops and a low relief factory. Check out the other items there is 00 as well. http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1432.l2649
RMweb Premium Mike Bellamy Posted July 18, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 18, 2012 There was a mention a while ago here http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/39003-3dk-kits/ It would seem that it is a Scottish firm as they produce full kits that are for sale by Invertrains - click on side bar for card kits and then 3DK This says that they are designed by the same person who produces Highland Castings that are now part of the Invertrains range. http://www.invertrain.com/ I picked up a second hand medium size brick built station kit ref 3dbk010 which is complete with fittings etc. No web site quoted on the packaging (not opened yet!) but there is a phone number, email and home address. However as I don't know how up to date this is, I won't publish the details here - if you need any more information, Chris Smith at Invertrains should be able to help Mike
signaller
Apparently he used to produce the building kits as pre-printed kits in the UK that were posted out in a pack, but the cost of producing the kits became too great so now he just sells them as PDF downloads on EBay. There are certain shops that still have back stock and it is that you see advertised. In my ongoing quest for "0" scale buildings that print to A4 I found these. http://rpg.drivethru...ner-Paper-Model http://rpg.drivethru...oducts_id=92484 I have no Idea what 28-30mm means? But they do print to A4 and going by the height of the doors are as near as dammit "0" scale. They are certainly different!

Guest Jim Read
Hello, I found this thread from a search on Google and thought I would post this in case anyone found it useful. I tried making backscene type buildings from brick paper, they looked dreadful. I had made some Scalescenes freebies and thought I wonder if I took some pics could I convert them to back scenes using the skills I'd gathered. After the usual failures I got to this; With the help of some software I would think it possible to do some flat fronted shops. Here's the thread on my layout with bits and pics about the above scattered amongst it; http://www.rmweb.co....endt-challenge/ Jim
14Steve14
I have no Idea what 28-30mm means? But they do print to A4 and going by the height of the doors are as near as dammit "0" scale. They are certainly different! 28mm is a scale used in wargaming. It scales to approx 1:56 which i think is about 5.4mm ft. So small for O gauge. 28mm is the height of an average model person. I could be corrected here.
Campaman
Correct on 1:56 scale for the 28mm high gaming figures, and 1:56 works out at 5.44mm ft so again near enough.

marc smith
Some useful links here folks - thanks I always thought it was a shame Metcalfe stopped producing their O gauge range..... Although Bachmann Scenecraft O gauge buildings are pricey, we are at least seing more buildings available in O Perhaps with the amount of RTR locos and rolling stock ever increasing, we may see more and more building kits becoming available........ Cheers Thanks for starting this thread
