We were in Cyprus a fortnight ago and took a trip on ex London Volvo B7 with a Gemini body on a tour of Paphos.

Paphos was traditionally operated by a trio of red open toppers - a pair of Olympians and a Scania which park in the harbour car park next to the bus station.  We walked over to the buses which were shunting into position, and asked the driver for the final trip of the day.  He explained that they had finished for the day, but pointed over to the orther red decker in the car park and suggested we might want to see the driver !!! So now there is Paphos Sightseeing, and City Sightseeing - both with red deckers !!

We had the trip on the City Sightseeing bus and I narrowed it down to ex London LK04 H?S from a plate in the cab.

Re. The RHD  and right hand entrance Danish buses --

Many  pre war Bedfords in Denmark were RHD as RHD was preferred for delivery vehicles as thought easier to alight on kerb.

I don't know whether this was common  there in other decades but looks like it  also was applied to buses  where I can see the logic of close  views of passengers entering / exiting,

Although not a British bus - so a bit off topic - the buses which operate the free 16th street mall shuttle in Denver, Colorado are right hand drive to make it easier for the driver to see boarding and alighting passengers. this is a very high frequency services with a stop on every block resulting in 19 stops in total on a 90 second or less headway. This is one of the older hybrid buses now replaced by a battery electric fleet.

Just looked at the equivalent vehicle they were running back in 1983, and they were right hand drive as well.......
