cornishmick Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Hi i have a Hornby DCC select controller R8213 and i have a Bachmann class 57 dcc sound and i cant seem to get Function 9 and 10 to work the loco is brand new and is a loveley bit of kit but cant seem t get those 2 functions to work i am new to this dcc game and what i have tryed so far im well impressed and so im converting my loft DC layout to DCC but im still learning am i doing something wrong or not pressing the right buttons? Nigelcliffe Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 The Select supports "9 functions" according to the manual. This would be F0 to F8. To get above F8, you need a better control system (and look at other makers than just Hornby !!). Someone with a better controller might be able to move the functions to work off keys F0 to F8, but you'd have to compromise somewhere on which features work. - Nigel Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
