REC Farnborough Posted September 17, 2012 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Following our successful exhibition last weekend, we are cordially inviting all interested modellers (no matter what scale/gauge!) to our 'Open Day' at the clubroom - 103 Hawley Lane, Farnborough. Hants,GU14 8JG ( the turning just before/after - depending which way you are travelling - the M3 overbridge on Hawley Lane). Look for the 'local signboard'. The event will run from10.30-4.30 pm. Boards from all the club's current projects from 'N' to 'O' will be on display, with 'skills' demos on most. There will also be a ''DCC' skills clinic. Two working 'private members' layouts will also be on display in '009' & 'EM'. Admission is free & light refreshments will be available. An obvious aim is to attract new members to the Club - but we do appreciate these are 'hard times'. Therefore, prospective members who attend the event & subsequently join before 31 Jan 2013, will be entitled to a 'first year' discount of 10%. we also offer 'interest free' installment payment plans!
