sem34090
Ah yes, that was quite something! My own humble contributions - My phone isn't as good as Mr L49's. As the shots quite clearly show, we definitely weren't standing right alongside one another... High Street Kensington, after the realisation that the three yellow lights coming towards us definitely did not belong to S Stock!!! Actually, now I think about it, it seems very likely they sent it via the Piccadilly as the crew had put a Piccadilly destination board in. Temple. Barbican. The cab at Moorgate. Passing Chorleywood. Departing Rayners Lane.
sem34090
I have begun playing with the Rayners Lane shot: My original shot, more or less the same as Mr L49's... An attempt at a 'retro colour' shot. An attempt at a black and white shot. And what I think I'll keep as the proper shot, edited and cropped. Really wish I'd had my 35mm and/or 120 film camera(s) with me for that one. Edited February 25, 2019 by sem34090 3

sem34090
Photo courtesy of Mr L49 of this parish, L92 having put on a fine show Yesterday and quite possibly bringing in the crowds (Medstead & Four Marks' Ticket Sales were roughly four times their normal total during service 2). I can be pretty certain that she'll be running again today, and she was out on the Watercress Belle last night, I'm told.

RMweb Premium Chris116 Posted March 22, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 22, 2019 I was interested in applying for tickets for one of these trips but having seen the price I think I will watch it go through Earl's Court a couple of times and do a main line trip for a day at two thirds the price. Half the trip is electric traction and not steam which makes the price even more questionable. 1
