There is a similar but smaller chain called Del Taco that based in southern California. They are better, but it's still much the same.

I quite like Los Pollos Hermanos but never managed to eat there yet!

Surely the PWM mode is for finding rare PW shunters?

That's a good point, cheers mate!

I'll add this promise to the list and see if enough people show an interest in it.

I dare you to post that in the relevant thread....

(For those that haven't seen it, look in the DCC Questions section. A sure fire way to discourage people from using DCC)

There's more than one "relevant" thread!

This made me smile:

CNN: Augie the dog celebrated her 20th birthday this week, making her the oldest golden retriever in history

The claim may not be true, but it is remarkable for a Golden retriever to reach that age. They are bit jumpy and excitable when young but very sweet. Sadly lots of bad things happen to them in old age, like cancers in particular, eye problems and hip dysplasia.

Apparently a few decades ago 17 wasn't uncommon, so I would have thought 20 was easily reachable, but seemingly not now

According to Wikipedia:

Quote

The average lifespan for a Golden Retriever is about 11 to 12 years. The breed is susceptible to specific ailments, so pets should be taken to a veterinarian for yearly checkups.
