Waverley West
Shame I missed the presentation, as I was "off duty" at the time. Congratulations to Ken, Ian and Colm on winning the award and thanks to the whole team for a great weekend playing trains. Cheers, Dave
colmflanagan
"Bleach Green" has been in storage since November,2016 and with no prospects of any further exhibition use,w e have decided to dispose of it, as we've all got other things "on the go" (both railway and non railway) at present.. We have, for a start, listed it on ebay in the model railways section, and will see how that goes before exploring other options. Colm
kirley
A shame to see the end of this great layout from the exhibition circuit, .... if I put an extension onto the back of my railway shed....! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201942356718?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Nelson Jackson
It is a real pity to see such a gem being lost but hopefully someone will obtain it and keep it going on the exhibition circuit here in Northern Ireland. I would go for it but haven't got the room for it unfortunelty, even in its stored arrangement.
kirley
Great to see someone has bought this fantastic layout. The word is it will be residing in Co. Antrim, good luck to the new owner, hopefully he may put up some pictures when he gets it installed in it's new home.
colmflanagan
Just to confirm Kieran's last post, Bleach Green has indeed been sold to a buyer in Northern Ireland. It will remain "in store" for some months and will ultimately be re-erected in a large roofspace environment... Future exhibition has not been ruled out but, as the NCC Group found, is not a task to be undertaken without a good deal of help and financial support.
