Guest 34008Padstow
About 7 years ago i started on a long term layout based on a preserved railway. The layout is called the Hogsmeade Steam Railway and was named as i had the harry potter train set one christmas although it is not actually based on any of the HP stuff. there are 3 stations on the line these are hogsmeade, boardstone and donnington. hogsmeade is the town station, with workshop, engine sheds and storage sidings. boardstone is home of the Pway departmant who now use the old goods yard. it is loosely based on dunster and has a level crossing at each end. donnington has not yet been built but should hopefully be up and running in march 2010. i will post some pics as soon as i have time to go in the attic.
