You may also be aware that the Western Locomotive Association have commissioned a Limited Edition model of Western Courier. Limited to 150 models - see westernloco.com for details. I am looking for suitable photographs of D1062 in the early years. Ideally I would like to find a photograph under construction at Crewe, posing outside the works or on a test run. I have enquired of Adrian Curtis but he does not have any. I have contacted NRM...awaiting a reply. The photograph would be printed on the packaging of the model and the photographer would be credited. All profits from sale of the model go towards maintenance of D1062.
