I would not want to be called a rivet counter Andy, but should your signature not read "Sic Viscerit Industria"?   :scratchhead:

Best wishes,

Howard

Not unless all these were wrong too?

Gotme!  I thought you might be saying "Thus within Industry" ie "The way they do it on the real thing"   Not sure what Rotherham Corproation were saying - but then I know even less about Latin than I do about railways!

Best wishes,

Howard

From a heraldry site:

Motto : 'SIC VIRESCIT INDUSTRIA' - Thus industry flourishes

Merely a pipe dream in my railway modelling world, or so it at times seems :)

Rgds,

Personally, I prefer "With Gods help our labour is successful" on a proper bus!

Another good operating session today with eight people present. We welcomed Tim and Dave for the first time. The morning was spent running a few trains and trying out five newly converted and DCC sound fitted locos. We are slowly venturing away from the dark side and embracing more steam locos.

Whist the others tried to run a few trains from the timetable, two Hornby Black 5s, a Hornby B1, a Bachmann Ivatt 4MT 2-6-0 and a Hornby Britannia were tested on the Leeds City South lines, which can be done without getting in the way of the trains moving in and out of City North. All will be ready for service once couplings have been fitted, with the exception of the B1 which has suffered a shifted Return Crank. No doubt they will feature in future photographs.

If you're heading into the steam transition era do you have plans to run the Heysham to Neville Hill oil tanks which often produced double headed 9F's

.It was one of the last regular heavy steam freights through the station mid afternoon.

The Block Instrument inards were delivered last week so I have been busy installing them. All signal boxes are now more or less complete, the only thing that's missing is some signals!!

This is the main panel that duplicates some of the boxes so that I can run trains when on my own. It also facilitates testing and setting up.

Mad, but in an excellent way.

Congratulations to all involved, just don't let the Russians hack in to it!
