RMweb Premium Alex TM Posted November 17, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 17, 2012 Hi folks, While clearing through old magazine articles and some digital video footage, I came across a few things on the now EWS depot at Peterborough; can anyone tell me when it was built? Thanks in advance for any help. Regards, Alex.
Three Cocks Junction
It was brought into use on Sunday09/03/1969. Some previous pw alterations in that area took place on 09/02/1969 so construction may have begun shortly after that.

HAL 'O THE WYND
It was brought into use on Sunday09/03/1969. Some previous pw alterations in that area took place on 09/02/1969 so construction may have begun shortly after that. Thanks from me, too! Thanks largely to the EM guys I'm being pulled from steam/green diesel '60's, to added Blues and disappearing kettles (won't ever really happen) I recently purchased - on a whim - the Scenecraft model - which is very good IMO - so I'm barely justified? For the record, your answer came in a web search via a new Toshiba laptop - good! - and Windows 10... (vomit!) So, good things can come from the worst sources... I guess I'll get used to 10 (I've come from delightful 7) like most of us. Regards, Tony.
