That is some list of layouts. Seeing the photos posted last year as well I am contemplating breaking my rule of only going to exhibitions within 2 hours of home.

I shall be there as is obvious from the poster, looking forward to it and meeting new RMwebbers come and say hello.

cheers.

I'll be there as part of the crew for Ashbourne (Park Road) . Y shaped, two fiddle yards to one terminus in 0-16.5 and 32 feet long.

This was an American 0n30 tender loco once, now a heavy tank for handling the Derbyshire Stone trains on the layout, crossing the bridge over the Henmore Brook.

New this year are discounted Advance Tickets. Full details are on our Website www.wiganfrm.org.uk As there is a separate entrance for ticket holders you will also by-pass the early morning entrance queue. This year there is no reason why anyone should not have gained entrance to Wigan at a discount.

Visited for the first time last year. There are a lot of good exhibitions around nowadays but this easily stood out even though, for me, it doesn't have much HO.

Hi Dave,

Although this year is now planned, we are always interested in any layouts on the exhibition circuit which we may have missed. If you have any suggestions for good HO layouts which you would like to see at Wigan, then please let us know either via this thread, PM (87023Velocity or Eaton) or contact us at the Wigan stand during the show.

Cheers

Simon

The stand you will want to visit is the Wigan Club Sales Stand, with over 400 items for sale, many ready to run locomotives from the major manufacturers, nearly brand new and in original boxes, should be a must for treating yourself without breaking the bank.....

Check out our website and the latest news to keep updated with everything about the show. :D

We have just updated our blog, on our website, we are trying to find out who travels the furthest to visit our show,

Last year this was a gentleman from Falmouth, who travelled to the show and back again on the same day, so he thought the show was worth travelling that distance for.

The sale of Advance Tickets proving very popular ( you gain entry to the show 10 minutes before the show opens, so avoid the crush, you get a seperate entrance, so no queues), with the addition of a 2 day ticket you can now attend on both days for just ??12 for adults and ??4 for children, so definatley worth the money.

At present our further Advance ticket holder comes from Motherwell, so why not add you comment on our website BLOG.

we would like to see if we can beat last year.....

Advance Tickets -

For those of you that have already requested Advance Tickets that have not yet recieved your tickets in the post, rest assured that we have recieved the completed forms.

But have not yet posted the tickets out due to the postal strike. These will be sent out shortly. (Tickets have been posted Saturday 24th October)

We are also keeping a record of who has bought tickets on the off chance that they do not arrive in time.

And we are hoping to put some measure in place for the tickets to be bought online, and collected at the exhibition, should this dispute escalate.

Please make sure you check the NEWS UPDATE regularly for updates on this situation.

If you have any queries email - vice.chairman@wiganfrm.org.uk
