Yesterday I continued in my layout room.
The segments for my addition are nearly complete. Only the segment with the 180^curves is missing..

Last week I received my JayTech HD Action Cam DVH108.
Today I made a testrun with the camera.
Because of the layout addition, at the moment the layout is not powered. So I pushed the camera that was

placed on a N gauge Lowmac, but the camera is not sitting right on it, and the combination is a bit

high, so that it didn't pass through the road overbridge.

I will built a special camerawagon.

During the last week I began with the electrics under the first two segments, I also did the turnout mechanism there.
These two segments are now finished, so that only the last station segment and the segment with the track towards

the fiddle yard needs my attention.

Maybe some of you remember, that I started the construction of three curved modules last autum.

One of the modules received a basic groundcover. And with the second one I built the landscape base.

Yesterday after about three month I came back to the second module.

On these module there will be a small bridge where the line crosses a small stream that enters the sea.

For the bridge I used the Scalescenes tunnel mound kit, and adapted it for these purpose.

DSCI1423.JPG

Today I continued with cutting and gluing parts together (now I wait for them to dry).

In my imagination there will be a derelict cottage on that module near the shoreline. So

I downloaded the Cottage from Smart Models. I printed the kit twice, because the cottage

is derelict, so you could see the inside of it. The walls were cut a few months back, but today

I joined them.

DSCI1427.JPG

I will consider if these would be the final position of the cottage.

The bridge is ready.
Then I continued with the scenery base under the bridge.
I glued some plastic strips on the base of the bridge to

prevent the prints from bleeding out.

For the water I used cristal clear window color.
I have to wire in the cables, then painting the track and put in the ballast.
On the seaside of the module I will put some clear artist acrylic paste on the water for a wave effect.

I love embankments and overbridges, and you don't see enough of them on model railways. Yours is a fine example and the water looks very convincing. Does anyone make otters in N gauge? The abandoned croft is a nice touch as well.

It's been a while since my last post. But in the meantime I started with the landscape of the third module, and it is now basicly finished,
so that I could show it at our modular meeting in August. Here ar some pictures of the three modules.

Good morning

today I placed a small boat jetty on the shore of the small river, and a small motorboat is heading for it..

DSCI2018.JPG

DSCI2021.JPG

DSCI2024.JPG

I'm not sure if I will made a scene with the derelict cottage, which shows that the cottage will be renotated?

Any recommandations?

I continued on the curved modules with the lineside fencing. It was made of square styrene strips.

Since it went quiet about my Garve and Ullapool Railway. Today I decided to work on the planned textile mill for
Ullapool. The first building is the Modelrailway Scenery factory kit.

For quite a while I recognised that on my Ullapool goods shed, the walls with door openings are wraping.
I will try to fix it, but if that doesn't work I will redo the shed.
