GrahamB
Having looked at the Doncaster offering I think I'd rather travel the extra distance.
RMweb Premium Grafarman Posted December 14, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 14, 2012 I might make the effort this year as I'd like to see Copenhagen Fields and Banbury up close, and as I haven't yet seen BCB it'd be good to see how they're getting on 'live' so to speak! dave55uk
Good evening. Last night, and again just now, I tried to buy tickets for the London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace online. I duly went to the Model-Railways-Live website and logged in. I followed the link to 'Buy tickets here' only to be asked to log in again. OK, so I logged in again. Scrolled down the page to the actual ticket section and it says BRM subscribers can have 2 cheaper tickets - so where's the box indicating how many I want? There are boxes for adults, children and family tickets - but no box for subscribers tickets. Has anyone ordered subscriber tickets online? If so, please tell me where. Many thanks. RMweb Gold colin penfold Posted February 23, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 23, 2013 Its a couple of years since I bought subscribers tickets but I think you request adult tickets at that point and the subscribers discount is dealt with at checkout. dave55uk
Thank you Colin. I'll give that a try then. Pity they don't make it clear on the website,
RMweb Premium mezzoman253 Posted February 26, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 26, 2013 It's not the best inter-active site I've ever used. But got there in the end. Rob

Andy Y
I'm not aware of any show ever imposing an additional charging for demonstrations... No but it is convention for some types of show to charge for some theatre sessions. Not railway modelling though.
