RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted March 10, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 10, 2020 As modelled by Hornby, if you don't want to re-livery one yourself suggest the livery to Hornby. They might even consider a weathered one as in your pic.

Lee1975
Finally found this picture today. I took this at Ward Ferrous, Silvertown in April 1988. I don’t know anything more about this particular Sentinel or whether it was in use at the time or not.
RMweb Gold ruggedpeak Posted January 22, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2022 Picked up my pre-ordered Hitachi Sentinel from John Dutfield's today as it had just come in from Hornby. Includes the MU coupler as per the catalogue image, it is in a single piece with the cover for the coupling hole. Coupling and the dummy hook have to be removed.
RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted January 22, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 22, 2022 I was in John Dutfields this afternoon. I'll have to pre-order a six wheel one soon.
RMweb Gold ruggedpeak Posted January 22, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2022 Here's the part. For some reason it has NEM hooks on it but there is no NEM pocket. Looks the part but whilst not a weak part it equally won't survive a hit. The good news is that the web stripes are aligned unlike some previous iterations of the Sentinel! If available as spares could be the basis for the front of a Javelin once the nose is cut off.

Would be a better idea than the non working version the model comes with.
