Does anyone fancy trying to replicate this?

Terence 08650

The first one doesn't work for me, the second one is much more acceptable....

But Terence could work well with the aggregate hoppers being produced by several manufacturers. It worked at Foster Yeoman Grain, in 1989 - the terminal used for Scottish aggregates destined for the Chunnel. https://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/britaingeneralrail/e39498c88 https://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/britaingeneralrail/e207c0b23

A couple of named ones.

08 477 “Private W Wood VC”, Buxton, 13-8-82. The name was previously carried by a Claughton and a Patriot, and now according to Wikipedia, a Wetherspoons in Hazel Grove is named after him. Shame there’s no longer a loco carrying his name, given what he did.

08 786 “Wilf”, Banbury, November 1983.

A slight livery variation: black bufferbeams, yellow buffers, overhead warning flashes on the rear but not on the sides.

08 784 drawing some wagons out of the yard during a shunt, Banbury, 29 June 1981.
