RMweb Gold tractionman Posted January 2, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 2, 2013 I bought a copy of this before Christmas having seen it reviewed in MLI and 'Traction' - it's a great book for those modelling the late 1960s BR diesel and electric scene. I've reviewed it on Amazon for anyone interested: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Diesel-Morning-David-Percival/dp/0956676227/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1357159597&sr=1-1 I found it best to order a copy via the author's Ebay page. cheers, Keith
Baby Deltic
I got a copy over Christmas. The quality of some of the piccies is a bit drab in places but there are some gems. The picture of the commuters walking past the Baby Deltic and Big Deltic on the blocks at KX is one of my faves.
robertcwp
I bought this book when it first came out and was going to post then but never got round to it. Though it is slightly let down by the rather dark printing in places, this book is nevertheless well worth having if you are looking for images of 1960s diesels, with informative captions too. Ian Allan at Waterloo still had some in stock yesterday.
Rugd1022
Are the images spread across the regions Robert...? Is there much WR content? Cheers ;O)
robertcwp
There is some WR content but not a huge amount. A wide variety of shots.
