The leading coach (a BSK ?) is on B4 bogies - Seems awfully early for that, especially for a 2nd Class vehicle !

The 2 coaches are ex-works and no doubt being delivered somewhere; the mk1 refurbishment program started in 1966 and I believe B4s were fitted to the refurbished coaches for 100mph running.  But a steam hauled mk1 with B4 bogies is worthy of comment...

I don't think I've ever seen such a clean Van B. I wonder what that panel of script above the left-hand buffer is? Not noticed anything like that before on one of these.
