RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted June 26, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 26, 2018 I'm so convinced I am wondering how the photographer survived. Twice. He would have been in the brake van of the freight train that the locomotive in each picture would have been assisting up the gradient from the dip in the bottom of the Severn Tunnel. The photographer had the Western Region re-write the Sectional Appendix specially for these two occasions, to permit this to happen.
