Is that 00 gauge or scale? In TT scale, 3mm to the foot 16.5mm is 5' 6", the standard gauge on the sub continent.

And 10.5mm track (not so widely available now)  would be good for metre gauge and 3'6.

The models/kits are all in HO scale.

As for track gauges the popular ones are used BG on 16.5mm, MG on 12.0mm and NG on 9.0mm. For the purists, our supplier for mechanism (Locos n Stuff) can do BG in 18.83mm, MG in 14.2mm.

Very kind of you, Al  but I consider myself properly trumped. Top job.

Not wishing to take this off thread but in actual fact 10.5mm gauge track should be (in theory) much more widely available in the UK than ever because PECO now make it - in the distant past it was a Shinohara (japan) inport.

Hi Paul,

Not such a distant past for the Shinohara. But it had passed me by that PECO were now doing a 10.5mm track. Logical enough in view of the inroads that they are making into the US model railroad market these days.

PECO is one of the great export business success stories of the UK economy. Perhaps we should campaign for the current CEO to get a "gong".

And 19mm track that is made for 0n3 uses code 100 rail supplied by Peco. Not sure though if the actual web is also made by Peco. For that matter it should not be difficult to 3D print the web for your own track to whatever gauge you want and just puchase the rails from Peco. There is an RMwebber doing just that, not only plain track but points as well.

That's another scale/gauge combo that I had not seen. Using proper 0 scale 1:48, it works out at 912mm so very close to scale.
