Perhaps there is a concern that the layout appears to be set up rather precariously, although if you look closely, there do seem to be a lot of supports there! 2

RMweb Gold Popular Post The Johnster Posted March 17, 2021 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted March 17, 2021 (edited) Mid morning at Cwmdimbath, about 09.45, on a dull and damp, but mild, 1950s South Walian day. Tondu's 5633, has just taken water, and is waiting for the Colliery Peckett to bring a rake of loaded up from the out-of-sight washery. The Peckett will arrive shortly, after all W4s cannot help but do things shortly (!), uncouple, and retire to it's shed, visible here centre background, and 5633 will back the van on to the train, draw it out, run around, and, while waiting for the road, not clear until the morning pickup shows up at 10.10, the lamps will be attended to and the guard will give the driver the load and install himself in the van, ready to give the 'tip' as soon as the train moves off.
