Looks in considerably better condition than most of the brake vans I rode in during the 70s!  Lovely weathering, Grunfos; might I respectfully suggest a hint of rust staining in the remnants of the white paint on the handrails...

That's not a loco that you see modelled often, Paul!

 

A kind of 'opposite' to a Double Fairlie, perhaps? (that has one cab and two boilers, whereas this fellow seems to have two cabs and one boiler).

Hi Tim, it’s a Sentinel Y10, as you say two cabs, one boiler, built from an Impetus kit with a Tenshodo Spud as a power unit. The spud is knackered :( so I’ll need to replace it to improve the running significantly.
