RMweb Premium wagonbasher Posted August 27, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 27, 2017 Dave, I just love that phot of the steel works. I just can't help thinking that if that ingot was stopped adjacent to the parked cars, that it would set them on fire! (I just love the "heat haze" effect.) Kev. I wouldn't want to be the one that puts the hand brake on, I assume it is that central wheel on the wagon. I love the whole scene. Andy

RMweb Premium Popular Post 60027Merlin Posted September 5, 2017 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted September 5, 2017 I was recently offered an unused Bachmann A1, which had been sitting pristine in a showcase, for a bargain price. It couldn't be turned down even although I didn't need another one and after a couple of weeks work it is now in working condition and running fine on the layout.

RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted September 7, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 7, 2017 It's a work in progress but it's about texture. Here is the gently crumbling platform surface of Mutton, the intermediate station on the Lamb Regis branch. Successive winters have taken their toll.
