I'm impressed with the trees in 2mm..well done.

Hi, I can't claim to have modelled the trees.... They are sea moss straight from the box (Forest in a Box). The 'trunks and bigger branches' are painted shades of grey and the minor 'branches are air brushed. The trees themselves I try to choose a shape from the items supplied that 'fits' but I further trim with pliers to obtain a satisfying final shape for each tree. It is good to hear that you like the finished items. Thanks.

I don't know if a bit of tinkering is aloud, but here's a pic of my current project, New Mills.

Hi Jamie, Unfortunately, I'm moving back to the South Coast in a few Months, probably after my Holiday in Bala in November, but I'll be at the Hazel Grove Show at the  end of October.

Hope to see you before I disappear from the North.

Here's one from my Seven Mills Sidings.

Hi AndyP

I may have to speak to Ray & Polly about attending the Hazel Grove Show at the end of October. Bala I could come and meet up with you, you are far from Caernarfon/Porthmadog area.

Are you Exhibiting your layout at Hazel Grove Show at the end of October then....!?!

Regards

Jamie

Might as well throw my hat in20190330_110852.jpg.c693d579da229e4e6e86a5601a805eda.jpg.e14a8246717aafd97d48aae5517db9c3.jpg20190330_110827.jpg.55603cc6fbafe9b98f10f3c7b157dcb3.jpg.75e8f324eb6976508a1244525066049c.jpg

this is a model I made for a cakebox challenge. Sadly when I submitted my entry I was in the airport and the wifi must have freaked out so it never got judged so I might as well show a couple images of it here.

I made this quite a while ago when I was testing a load of different modelling stylesFB_IMG_1544121155149.jpg.c1390936398ed4d9f21ff50985b1af0e.jpgFB_IMG_1544121130931.jpg.55b1aae921383acfc10f68e7819c8d16.jpg

The T34's left track has been broken on a rock in the river.

My backstory to this is the crew wasn't incredibly experienced and charged straight into a river without checking the ground for obstacles. They saw other tanks go across and the commander thought "hey it must be safe".

the tank then broke its track off and damaged the front left sprocket making it hard to repair (a lot of early t34s where dumped after breaking down rather than spending time recovering and repairing the tank) that on top of the tank being in water making it much harder to be repaired by the crew.

the crew then just opened the hatches and left.

A summer evening (natural light) on the mountainside above Cwmdimbath station and some ovine mothers are being unwillingly followed around by this year's late lambs near an old stone shelter (Will's grotty hut) and doing their best to ignore them.  Bit different to the scene on Little Muddle!

Thanks, I thought so to.

They asked to pass on their regards to yourself and Norman and said they would pop around tomorrow for a cup of tea.

I guess I'll throw a couple of shots into the mix. My Aldwarke based photo plank is about 98% complete now so I was able to get a couple of pics yesterday that I'm rather fond of.
