Aberbrothock
The cobbles look as though they've seen lots of traffic and rough repairs - the ones through Dundee's docks were very similar and played havoc with car suspension as I remember.... and the loco's not bad either! 3

RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted August 23, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 23, 2020 An overcast afternoon at Cwmdimbath and the late pickup is shunting. 5633 has drawn up by the box for a quick exchange of information, or pleasantries, or insults with the bobby who is out of sight in this shot at the top of his steps. Mr Riddles would not approve of one of his specifically designed Sand wagons, and an ex works one to boot, being used to carry gravel but it was all that was on hand at Bridgend goods. A little while later, while another 56xx waits on the colliery branch, the wagon is delivered to the 'stub' siding, which is used as an additional mileage road at Cwmdimbath. There's an oil drum want's collecting as well...
