Gordy
A 7mm layout built by a model railway club in slough. I've saved it from the scrap heap and repaired it so it can go back on the circuit. Appearing at the large scale and garden rail show in leamington this weekend

RMweb Premium DLT Posted March 16, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 16, 2013 Looks like you've made a good rescue there Gordy, well spotted! Looks a bit faded in the colour department, particularly the grass, but thats not a huge problem to remedy. Good on you! Dave.
Gordy
I think my photos are a bit dark, its suppose to be scottish moorland its not actually as faded as it looks its really been restoring the electrics for now and a bit of track work. Andrew P
Hi Gordy, A great set of pics and I feel that the grass is almost right, a very natural hazy summer look to it. You have been very lucky to rescue such a nice looking layout, but please can you reveal its size as I do enjoy Mico Layouts and this looks about 10 ft. artizen
Can't believe this was about to be scrapped. Most clubs here in Australia would show this to death over a 10 year period to get their money's worth. Good catch!
