Hi guys!

We're all ready and set up to go tomorrow at the Worthing MRC show this weekend, please do stop by and say hello if you can make it!

More details about the show can be found on our website at www.worthingmrc.co.uk/exhibition or our RMWeb event thread - https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/146304-worthing-mrc-exhibition-2019-28th-29th-sep-2019/ - lots of layouts and traders going as well as Loftus Road.

As a taster, here's a couple of shots kindly taken by Trevor Jones of Hornby Magazine, following on from our feature earlier this year...

Unbranded triple grey 60028 John Flamsteed takes a rake of BP tanks through Loftus Road, whilst a District Line service prepares to depart.

Meanwhile, Freightliner's 66555 powers through with a container service bound for Crewe Basford Hall.

Hope to see some of you guys there at the weekend!

Cheers,

James

Here’s some pictures and videos I took yesterday at Taunton show.
batch 1 of pictures. If lighting looks strange in photos the hall lighting above the layout wasn’t giving much light which haves loftus a twighlight feel. Have been able to do some photo/video editing to improve pics

We saw this at Taunton today and seemed lit well enough, did you get better lighting? The couple of pictures I grabbed look ok.

Really liked the urban feel and the variety of trains. Our son noticed the car being towed away in the corner straight away :)

I can't wait for this period to be over, then we will be able to go see Loftus Road at a show at some point. I might even fly over specifically if they attend a show near an airport :D

Thanks, hopefully we’ll be back out there on the circuit at some point..!

Our next booked show is currently Spalding in October but who knows what’ll happen! Seems like an age since we last saw the layout, our last show was at Basingstoke just before the lockdown, which was great fun, looking forward to playing trains again sometime in due course!

In the meantime it’s just a case of getting on with all the modelling projects on the workbench, when we’re next out we’ll then at least have a jazzy range of new stock to run!

Cheers,

James

Did you lads get any further with the Eurostar?

We got sidetracked on that one in the end but it’s on the to-do list! The latest is we were going to fit some LED lights in the driving cars but just didn’t get round to it and then events overtook us!
