Thanks Paul

According to the Longworth book, this was originally a Diag.H33 Composite Diner, converted to H58 Buffet Restaurant Car in 1952. Then Inspection Saloon Departmental use in 1960.

Aha! So you could probably make one from a Hornby Railroad coach.

Hello St Enodoc

You can imagine how much trouble the Mini-Poll Team is having with presenting you with a sensible list for the forthcoming Catering Mini-Poll!

There were so many types to start with and so many vehicles were converted in various ways during their working lives.

Just in time to do my modelling era entries.

1  This covers my Barry Railway modelling.

2  Most of my GWR stock falls into this period although I do not limit myself to a particular time period or livery, I just do what takes my fancy.

5  More recent models fall into this category, largely memories of what I remember from my much younger days.

I have not voted for the wagon polls because I have more wagons than I need and it would have to be something special to tempt me to buy one and that would only happen if  I see it.

Not to mention the one on the Severn Valley, currently undergoing conversion from a bow-end third:

No one would have a chance of abducting his pasty.

He later woke up in the Men in Malachite's Brent Facility, strapped to the Air Smoother - as he'd not asked permission from the Grand Inquisitor to eat a pasty ;)

That all too obviously is what 'they' call a cocktail pasty' - two bites and it's all gone apart from a bit of crust.

In a similar vein, the so-called 'fun size' Mars bar is any thing but that.
