A Nod To Brent - a friendly thread, filled with frivolity, cream teas and pasties. Longing for the happy days in the South Hams 1947.

Lovely stuff Robin... ;)

Having seen 3803 at Buckfastleigh in the snow many years ago its always been a favourite.

Seeing your 3864 is always a pleasure Robin and hopefully a few more snaps to come this weekend..

Of course you could once more bring into to play Stanier's take on the GWR 2-8-0 with your 8F, Riddles WD and the venerable GCR 2-8-0.

Blimey! What a collection of 2-8-0's and set of snaps to be had... :)

Thanks once again.

Regrettably, and sorry to disappoint, but I can't find a photo a pal took of somewhat younger me while I was standing next to a Super D in Oxford shed yard.  And oh for the days of Bletchley shed on a Sunday when it was full of 'em.

Funny you should say that as it's a year since 3005 arrived on the scene. Incidentally the two vans are the Bachmann versions of the two I shewed last weekend.;)

You've got ROD, but where's Jane (8F) & Freddie (WD)?

"Bu××er Bognor" George V.

Mis quote there Sib, he actually groaned " Bogcarts" when he saw the SR VEPS etc; I know this as I read it on Karen's  FB Brighton Rock pages.
