Lovely shots Robin... :D

Nice Fruity D combo... ;) The Dapol Fruit D scrubs up nicely with a bit if work.

Looks like the fireman on 9440 has stuffed his shovel in the bunker handrail... Nice touch... ;)

Blimey Rob, I am getting really twitchy about that loco. I suspect they were too precious to be dumped on the SR as were the much older and knackered Panniers. They would have made nice Bankers at Exeter.

P

Some went to the Lickey in later years.

No, you already have too many Swindon locos.

1)  Not possible.

2)  It's a pannier.

(It's on ANTB)  Therefore I rest my case!

Yes but no but yes but no but, the Duck fella is supposed to be modelling "Seaton Junction, change here for Pecorama" which was part of the Lost Somewhere and Wandering Railway.

But..... what could possibly more appropriate for a "Duck Fella"

than a pannier?  We could even call him Montague.

There are two ways of doing things:

The Great Western way or the wrong way!

What is the respective provenance of these vans, please?

Thanks CK.

Provenance is Dapol supplied in unfinished state. Good value in my eyes and a nice quick project

I think Robin's may be similar but my versions are fitted with Gibson wheels, Dave Franks Lanarkshire Models buffers/roof vents.

I think Rob has added a few other tweaks to his.

In my case finished with Citadel, Vallejo and Tamiya acrylics. Transfers from John Isherwood at Cambridge Custom Transfers.

Robin has done a proper job on his version and it's looks good behind 9440 ;)

Thanks to Robin and Toboldlygo for their replies above as well ;)

Like I mentioned previously a lovely little pocket money project. Worth a look.
