A heads up for a good all round egg and follower of this thread's Graham Muz's layout, Canute Road Quay, being featured in the April edition of Hornby Magazine.

Great to see Oldddudders getting a name check in the magazine article.;)

I do miss popping into JD's on a Saturday afternoon. A chat with Pete, and Colin if he was in. Avoiding Ken trying to sell me something I didn't want. And best of all a cuddle from Heather.  Mustn't forget being mugged for treats by the dog. :fie:

I hope to finally get to the UK on Weds - I had to abandon last week’s trip due to back problems - so that will be one copy of the mag sold! Thanks for the heads-up, Rob!

Went to the Leamington show this morning and caught this superb Cornish layout Harlyn Pier again, I think it was at Railex last year. A quieter show enabled me to get a few close ups of a certain pannier 4666. Chris Spams wants to model her on his layout,  Pencarrow.

They do say a pannier never offends.

I thought I saw you at the show. I was helping operate Sheep Pasture but you breezed past!

My apologies John, I do remember the layout but I don't recall seeing your good self. If you had been behind Clinkerford, well that would have been another matter. ;)

Still in wartime black livery, we see Newton based 4870 returning to Hackney Yard with some empty cattle wagons.

It's only taken nearly 7 months to get back to Brent from the works - did it go on a world tour? :jester:

Still much to do on Oil Burner 4855, but I'm now waiting on parts (roof vents) number-plates and a seat to make for the fireman.

An awful lot of commissions to do this month - so this will take a bit of a back burner.

Speaking of which I have built a Cambrian Kits 10T Loco Coal Wagon (the couplings have been changed btw), in my spare time :sungum:
