Going off at a tangent..again ,there being an unspoken truth that tangential thinking rules this thread,we may consider an alternative rank/title.For those of you babes old enough to remember Private Eye In its heyday and its legal battle with one affluent gent with influence, how about, whisper it softly...”Goldenb***s” ?

Otherwise,Robin,I can think of no one better qualified for elevation to gilded status than one who ticks all the boxes of what it takes to dispense good taste, much skill and damned good fun with a sharing expansiveness that delights all who enter thiis hallowed shrine.

    Yrs.....Pompous Maximus.

( She'll be even nicer once the valves have been set. )

With the site difficulties over the weekend, I've only just been able to watch this, and discovered, to my great surprise, myself walking along the platform at the end.

Nice Pannier. Not offensive at all.

A long gestation it must be said but congratulations to everyone involved whatever part of this project they have been involved with. I hope she gets main line certification.

Lovely stuff Robin ;)

1022 County of Northampton looks at home speeding through Brent.

Along with a 78xx Manor Class a new 10xx County Class would be most welcome ;)

Thanks for the posting the link as well to Wadenhoe Road. Lilford Hall sits proudly in the backscene so a bit of a GWR link :good:

Watch this space for something Western Region in the future....;)

Another Star with Castle steam pipes, on hold for now (waiting for new set of nameplates, after I had a slight mishap cutting off the plinth on one of them). A warning sign that I've done too many loco's & rolling stock in the last month, so time for a break and time to go back to the Aircraft for few weeks ;)

So I dug the B-29A out of the stash ;)

*  Podcast from the bench of the up platform.

*  Priority requests for most stock that's being run. N class on Hawksworth stock is a step too far.

*  Behind the scenes in depth interviews with Mr Warburton and Mike Roper. How does he hold that case 24 hrs a day.

* Exclusive photos of Minnie Finching.

*  Ticket to any Plymouth Argyle match played at The Ricoh Arena. [Subject to availability]

Access to any unseen rhino shots, its been a while.

Ganger's chat:

"Not the best time or place to start building a dung midden"

"You can't move it though, as I've read that them dung middens are a vital social networking system for Rhinos  and the equivalent of Faecesbook Facebook for us humans"

"Well I'm not letting all that good fertiliser go to waste........"

Having travelled half way across Europe, and walked up from Plymouth to protest at the current affairs in this country, Donald has decided to have a rest infront of a "Special" carrying local politician, Algernon Trexit to an emergency meeting.

How do I know his name is Donald ?

Its a Tusk thing.
