Some more shots next of the 8F 8434 as she heads west with her coal train.

It is a very smart and powerful looking loco.

I reckon I could use one of these if it could get across the viaduct without bringing it down!

LMS = Little Muddle Station....

See it would work?

Oops! A bit of buffer locking there. Hope it's not my fault...

Those bogies on the K16 from Shapeways are excellent and it takes a lot to derail them. On the other hand the 6 wheel  milk tanks are a different ball game all together.

Hi BG

I got into trouble for suggesting they were pasties made from sea gulls when I PMed Mr Duck. :blackeye:

Or is it a warning to stay alert for angry white pigeons who want to steal your grub. :scared:

Just popped by for my treat at ANTB - I'm glad to see things don't change too much...... Pasties are still being mentioned :-)

Although I notice a couple of strange looking locos.....

Balanced of course with a lovely Hall and Pannier.

I hear there might have been suggestions a while back for an alternative to Railmatch GWR Light and Dark stone paint. Does it ring a bell with anyone? Living in Spain in sort-of lockdown I am running low on Railmatch which of course can not be shipped outside the UK. Wheras Valego is made here in Spain.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Neal.

A heads up on a new, to me anyway, book on freight in Devon & Cornwall that caught my eye in this months Heritage Railway magazine.

https://www.mortonsbooks.co.uk/product/view/productCode/15031

By author David Mitchell, I don't know exactly what the content of it is but the front cover looks promising.;) Ideally it might be best to see it in the flesh at a show, whenever that happens again, as at £40 it's a lot of money to gamble on relevant to this thread content. Of course someone might already have it and can give a review.
