The Lima 31s run very smoothe with "3" function Bachmann 8 pin chip.

Just matter of hard wiring the chip in...

Which is 20min job and four wires, red and black, then orange and grey :mail:

Thanks Neil

Any idea which are the best wheels to use to re-wheel it, it doesn't really like code 75, I'll dig it out tomorrow night and stick a pic on my thread mate.

Thanks, Paul

Wow, I just looked at some of this thread. I don't know how I missed before. There's some spectacular modelling going on here!

I've said it before, you Brits have a real knack at making very realistic scenes. I keep telling friends to look here to get ideas. One day I want to get to the UK so I can attend some shows and see these layouts in person.

I'll be looking in often to see what you continue to post.

Hats off to you Neil, that is some exceptional moddeling, so many thinks I like and how you made it look very realistic, it's given me a few ideas to use on mine.

It's been a great read

Glad it helps you with extra idea"s Alex :mail: sometimes building layout can be lot of looking round at scenery, buildings.

Then fitting all that into small areas on your layout board... :scratchhead:
