Lerdo is a suburb of Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. 74% of Ferromex is owned by Grupo Mexico which also owns all of the Florida East Coast Railway here in The States. The other 26% of Ferromex is owned by the Union Pacific Railroad. Jamie Actually, the train is crossing the Kennedy Expressway and is on its way into the North Western station judging by the exhaust trail. Photo appear to be taken from the W. This short train is a tunnel clearance test train looking like a model train set consist. The Kennecott Copper Corporation smelter is in the background and is one of the tallest smokestacks in the world. The train is traversing the world-famous Royal Gorge next to the Arkansas River. The train only has three covered hopper cars and a caboose.
