Very thoughtful of them to welcome the drivers to Lowestoft.

Perhaps it should read 'Lowestoft welcomes careful drivers'.

Great stuff! I was videoing your train at Llanfairpwll LC, I gave you a wave from the down side.

Great to see some Colas down the coast.

Nice vid, I did see you (white top on)

Running a bit late from the worksite but at least it was light for you, there was a guy videoing on Prestatyn who got the money shot as it were, I went through and as I cleared the platform the other colas tran went the other way with 66848 and 850 on!

Look out for those tomorrow too, my job Monday is to take the lot back from crewe to Bescot

Was on the worksite today, the train that went in today with 66848 and 66850 will go back loaded later on today. Can't see why it'll be late today as the job is practically done.

So they used Gaerwen's crossover road to go from the down to the up. Rare for that to get used nowadays!

The signaller said it was the first time he'd used it yesterday, certainly the first time I've used it since 2007 too

It had to be clipped and scotched just in case but he can't get the road across without dropping the barriers first so they were down for a good 10 mins while they did that and obtained permission for me to exit the worksite into Picop land, luckily it's not a busy road

Another loco to add to the list... Although my Colas 70s are 801 & 808 - please can you arrange for one of those to be used next time?

Cheers,

Mick

So are traction and drivers supplied separately for NR trains?

Cheers
