If there is an unplanned diversion over a line you're signed for, hopefully you'll be available to route conduct (in your jimjams) ?!!!

Cheers for the heads up Jim...the sunset at Barrow on Trent last night was lovely so there was enough light for a couple of dodgy photos and a video...photos are Flickr links to show the full-res versions:

Interesting that it has evidently been decided not to bother reliverying the 150s.

And I hope you didn't leave your train for the day in platform 7 at Shrewsbury!

I think if one has the right path into Salop one can pass lower quadrant, upper quadrant, conventional colour light and LED colour light signals. There is certainly plenty of variety. And I suspect that some of the lower quadrant ones will outlast the LED ones.

Great photos, as always.

There also appeared to be a couple of central-pivoted (lower?) quadrants in the mix

179 followers, that's an Omen,  I was in 179 gang Shrewsbury Pway.

Dad was Len Jones, Driver at Shrewsbury, 44yr career.

Spent last year of my shoveling career based at Baschurch.

Shock to the system after being in Station gang.

1 road up, 1 road down.  Mind numbing Lol.

I do miss the old station gang.

Under PWME Crewe though, not Birmingham lol

I'm probably the only one who thinks this but it will be slightly ironic that two fleets of 90s that will regularly pound their old manor have almost reversed liveries - Grand Central overall black with an orange stripe and Frightliner's orange with two black stripes.

It's the sort of irrelevant nonsense that appeals to me, sorry...
