So you thought this thread was dead did y'all ? !

Well sorry to disappoint, but now starting to build a  Southern Region branchline and this be the signal box.

This is the first time I've ever strayed this far South so most of it will be tongue in cheek and which should appeal to the rivet counters !

Cheers.

Allan

You've probably covered this before, but how have you made the decorative pointy canopy thingies? (I really should know the word for this, but it's left my brain and won't come back)

Hi Freebs.

They're a Scalelink brass etching and are supposedly barge boards and not roof ridge thingies and I don't know what they're called either !

Cheers.

In the GWR painting instructions they are just called fascia, or in one case I saw elsewhere, planking

At first Freebs I thought you were referring to the roof ridge  strips but yes, the pointed canopy thingies are indeed Scalelink brass etched valance boards.

Sorry for any confusion caused on my part.

Cheers.

Allan.

Yes, well you see, my addled brain confused me too!

I was rather impressed with the precision :)

I take it this is all 7mm scale?
