Timtrains66
Well hello again ! Those who have been following my previous layout topic will know that Craven Arms is no more. I've started the baseboards for the new layout but to keep me busy i've decided to buil a small project. It's more of a diorama than a small layout. It's a small network rail depot called Anissa Lane, served by a small siding. Here are a few photos, hope you enjoy ! More to come soon Tim

Few more photos tonight It's early morning at Anissa Lane when a DBS arrives with a empty wagon to be stationed in the yard A DBS class 66 stops in the yard for a change of drivers A couple of people wait for their morning coffee And finally, a few vehicules for the new layout arrive at Anissa Lane. Any guesses what they're for ? Tim

Swifty11
Thanks Tom ! Any progress on your layout ? Tim Yes, have finished the boards, and have built what HAS to be the most annoying, irritating and difficult kit ever! The Faller Aldi store, such a pain! The topic is one of the suggested ones at the bottom I think

Swifty11
The kindest way to describe the thing was a pain on the ars*! Not a helpful kit and not a kit for a beginer! But you win some you loose some. im working on a portocabin now...
Timtrains66
Tried weathering my first vehicule tonight. It's supposed to look like an old BT landrover that has been sold on to a private owner after it's time of duty was over. Might of over done it with the grubiness but never mind ! Please give me your thoughts ! Tim

The new layout is going to 4 and a half meters long, 70 cm in depts and a hidden fiddle yard which is 1m*1.5m With a terminus station and a timber yard but i haven't found a name yet ! Maybe Forest Hill or somehing like that. The cracked concrete affect wasn't even planned ! I was painting it out in the sun and in the south of France it's quite hot already ! So the paint just cracked under the heat i suppose Tim
Jaz
Hi As Kal has tracked your work down, I have to say I loved Craven Arms, liked the security area you built. Plus you have sourced some lovely figures, like the one carrying grates, pushing items about etc. Could you share your sources? Which I will probably then attempt to emulate Have you finished the internship? Any chance of some new work soon? No pressure you understand.

The figures is question are Noch, HO but they look ok size wize ! No work on this little project as it is in the tip ! Neither on Chirk Lane as i'm in Courchevel in the french alps working during the winter season. But i'm earning plenty of money for the layout so when i get back in april all hell will break loose !
