woow Simon love the 58 right up my street was unsure on heljans model what do you think of it and are you planning to add sound .

The 58 is a cracking model in my view Andi, I've seen other peoples but never got round to getting one, if you are keen on them get over to Hattons pronto. Finances permitting I do intend on adding sound to her.

Long overdue update, I've added some door operating instruction panels as well as a caution symbol to my first Italian bogie ferry van

A second one was started and has now been re-assembled and just awaits the addition of the aforementioned door instructions panel etc.

A coal sector Class 37 37239 was obtained off ebay for a reasonable price and work was undertaken to renumber it to 37235 as well as removing the headlight from the nose ends.

It appears Bescot TV has gone on strike so, courtesy of Teledu Mawddach, here's the latest Pendeford Yard Today, with the studio going into meltdown because someone bought a rabbit to work who likes the taste of cable insulation...

Update, two new wagons for the layout. A VBA and BDA were acquired for a bargain price over on theifbay, I then thought what I could do with these. The VBA would be repainted into Railfreight Red and Grey livery, the BDA would be converted into a BTA that I'd spied on the front cover of my "BR Air Braked Wagons" book.

The wagons look great mate like the stanchion on the  BDA makes a superb addition to you fleet . What grey did you use for the VBA was it from a rattle can its a really good match for  railfreight grey great job with the repaint and transfers .

The grey, believe it or not is Halfords Grey Primer. I did have the correct Railfreight grey but upon seeing how close the primer was to "faded grey" I thought I'd keep it like that.
