Keep your eyes on ebay Dave, you'll get the pair soon enough. I've finally added some lighting to the PSB so I took the opportunity to snap some trains in action

Well after some critical comments from my Network Rail friend, the Pendeford S&T gang have wired up their first signal. It's a crucial signal as it protects the junction outside the PSB ,so it need doing after 4 years

how many more mate ?

sadly the other signals on the layout got damaged by cats leaning/sleeping on them and are now only dummies or are completely missing. Seeing how good this one looks and how clever I felt after wiring it up, I'll be looking at reviewing the signals on the layout and maybe renewing them. I've made a video of the signal in action by the way.

I do know he's short on 8 pin chips, how do I know? as I blew my class 50 chip trying to add another speaker and messed up with my soldering iron......(lesson learnt), I contacted Jamie and tried to order another one but he informed me he's short of chips. He works full time, so he may be behind on his orders, bear with him as his sounds are great. I'll see if I can raise this with him for you, 3 weeks is longer than you would expect.

Not sure about 128 they just look odd :onthequiet:  but wow like the peak and whistler they look good mate BR blue and a good weathering .

nice work on your signal mate are you wiring them to switches on a board or dcc ing them ?

I quite like the old DPU units and I've got two of them now so have too like them   . The weathering is from Railmatch rattle cans (underframe dirt and roof dirt) with some dry brushed Humbrol light tan to pick out the detail.

As for the signals, I'm a traditionalist and I've got them working of rotary switches the only problem is I'm running out of room on my panel and I'm going to have to have a rethink
