RMweb Premium Blandford1969 Posted June 19, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 19, 2017 Sorry to dredge up an old topic, Where is the best place to buy a 15xx from in oo and what sort of prices would I have to pay. Is it still over £300 or as an old kit £130?
Horsetan
....Where is the best place to buy a 15xx from in oo and what sort of prices would I have to pay. Is it still over £300 or as an old kit £130? South Eastern Finecast recently took over the Autocom Nu-Cast (including K's) range in a joint venture with Branchlines, with new chassis being developed for the kits that are thought to be still viable in production terms. Dave Ellis is probably the best person to speak to regarding the future availability of the 15xx shunter.
hayfield
Will not be long if I am thinking about the same loco, had a chat with Dave Ellis of SEF at Expo EM Edit The 2021 is the next in line, not certain about the 15xx Edited June 19, 2017 by hayfield
Staffordshire
Not sure how much I should say about this, but apparently there is a 'person' on Facebook who is seriously looking into the possibility of a 4mm 15xx kit. The words I have seen, appear very promising. Send me a message if anyone requires more info ....
