Re spray/detailing of my "Bachmann" 37 projects...

Recommended Posts

Over the last few months ive been buying 37514 in metals livery, from Hattons in Liverpool.

Due to its silly sale price!!!

Ive renumber, and etched grilled the bodyshell, and swopped the front nose cones for the "split head code type"So far my projects have been,

Transrail 37111 and RFD 37107,37504....

Here is my finished project 37107 RFD, now weatherd and rust effects on bodyshell.

Ive used washed out RFD decal from Fox Transfers!!

I wanted this loco to "look like" its almost at the end of its working life!!

with heavy rust patches and painted primer patches along the bodyshell...

Careful ! You'll overdose on those 37s !!

Nice job on them though. Hattons does have a great price on them at the moment.

Ive stopped counting how many 37s i have now!! :senile: yer Hattons is good, but can be hard on your wallet ££££

Becareful of detail differences between the different 37s

Of note are the difference between the rsh and ee built ones

Nose grills

Positioning of horns

Of course if you can look over these differences then you can chop and change all you like and create some nice variety :-)

You have a nose horn body fitted with body mounted horn noses very wrong but the weathering is good.
