Yer I copy loco weathering from pictures from books ive collected over the years.

and pictures from my train spotting days Wayne 37901.

Yer most of my weathering is taken from pictures of locos ive seen over the years Wayne..

Ive stripped back the "standard Bachmann" weathering here on 37422 reggie rail.

And re-weathered this 37 using old pictures I had of it...

also added wind screen marks..

Been lightly weathering up my latest Network rail 97304.

Ile be fitting this out with ian (legomanbiffo) sound nexted...

is this the first of the class 97 you have done Neil . Great weathering on the nose end mate have you added the hand rails mate ?

Yes these are my resprayed Bachmann 37s,

ive done all four of the 97 range,but keep going back and adding to them Andi..:good::senile:

Some great weathering saxokid, I like the nose and roof of 37 298, exactly how I remember 37's to look.

Final got my NEW dept grey 37142 in this week.

Planning on biffo 37 sound and iPhone speaker refit

But for now its "chassie" weathering time using "dry brush" methord...

Little more "dry brushing" on this 37 chassie,

then adding rust and oil patches..

Im using some ww2 tank colours for this...

Ive used mixs of matt 26 brown the once dryed,

over layed with matt 29 brown with light dusting..

Ive pulled all the stops out with this 37 beast!!!!!

ive cut and scraped into the body panels,filled in with three tone rust mixs.

Then light dusting of enamel matt 29/26 brown with my airbrush...
