Arrachogaidh
I have been dabbling with Anyrail 5 with a view to creating a layout which imitates the 1953 arrangements at Gleneagles Station. A little poetic license has added a turntable and loco facility at the expense of the station masters house. I blame it on Peco Code 55 track.... http://www.arrachogaidh.eu/Compromise.jpg All track except the entry points to the fiddle yard are Code 55. the platform lengths work out about 90cm on the mainline and 70cm on the branch platform. Will this be enough for a decent rake of vehicles?

Arrachogaidh
It has been a wee while since the last post on this and suffice to say that progress is being made. The general Gleneagles Station and Comrie Station track and buildings plans will be on the final layout. Professional assistance has been acquired to build the layout with a complex hidden track layout which should accommodate a good deal of rolling stock. The layout will be DCC and can be fully automated with the option of selective manual control. More to follow,
Arrachogaidh
Progress takes some time but the layout is now emerging. I intend to upload pics as progress develops.
